On Friday, 7 June at 3 pm, three talented Coromandel singer-songwriters will come together for a special live performance at Richmond Villas Community Lodge in Thames, promising an afternoon of heartfelt, uplifting original music.
Taking the stage are Waiomu-based father-daughter duo Dylan Wade and Nur Peach, beloved staples of the local music scene. Dylan, a seasoned performer and music teacher with over 30 years of global and peninsula experience, blends rock, funk, folk, reggae and more into his vibrant sound. Nur, a rising pop artist and recent University of Auckland music graduate, released her debut album Syncopate last year, with singles like Gift From Above and Rainfall featured on Coromandel’s CFM.

Joining them is the genre-spanning May Love (Majella Siezen), a gifted young singer-songwriter who grew up in the Coromandel and has just returned from a creative stint in Germany. Her music moves effortlessly between pop, folk, and rap, with multiple singles, EPs, and an album already to her name.

Adding a meaningful layer to the performance: Dylan once taught both Nur and Majella music as primary school students. Majella and Nur also both attended Thames High School, where the late Stuart Du Preez, the former H.O.D of Music, taught them.
For the past 18 months, Dylan and Nur have also directed the Richmond Villas residents’ choir, making this performance a true coming together of generations, talent, and community.
🎤 Don’t miss this all-ages event, open to the public.
