Lose yourself in the haunting beauty of the North Atlantic as renowned harpist Thomas Loefke returns to Kauaeranga Hall for a magical afternoon of music and imagery on Sunday, 8 June.
From the windswept shores of Tory Island and Scotland’s Hebrides to the remote Faroe Islands, Thomas draws deep inspiration from the dramatic coastlines, wide Atlantic skies, and rich wildlife of these legendary Celtic landscapes.
His music reflects the quiet power of these places, merging the spirit of the Celtic Middle Ages with the joy of traditional Irish dance and his own evocative compositions.

Audiences will be treated to a live harp concert paired with a stunning photo slideshow featuring Thomas’s own images of wild seascapes and northern wildlife, transporting them to another world right from their seats.
Trained in Dublin under Ireland’s top harpists and a performer since 1984, Thomas has toured internationally with ensembles including Riverdance violinist Máire Breatnach, Acoustic Eidolon, and Norðan. His performances invite listeners to slow down, reflect, and be moved.
