Whangamata’s Oldest Sports Trophy Up For Grabs

The Whangamata Club Business House Tennis Tournament- now in its 41st year kicks off again on November 3rd. It happens every Monday Night from 5 to 9 until mid-March with a gap over Christmas.

Last year’s winners, 40 Love, are proud to host what many consider to be the oldest tournament in town. There are grandkids of the originals now playing in this. This year a new points system has been introduced, designed to bring the front runners back to the pack, which promises to make this year’s event very exciting.
